The Nancy Rothwell Award celebrates specimen drawing in schools and highlights the benefits of combining art and science.

The 2016 winners were announced during Biology Week 2016.

Winner of the 7-11 year old category:
Arnav Sharma, aged 9, from Brindishe Green Primary School in London

Winner of the 12-14 year old category:
Travis Moldrich, aged 14, from The Judd School in Tonbridge, Kent

Winner of the 15-18 year old category:
Liam Barrett, aged 17, from Tupton Hall School in Chesterfield, Derbyshire
